Greetings music fans, and thanks you for your interest into BenJammins DJ Service.  I for one am ready to make your party a success, as you have obviously searched for the finest to make your party a hit. Rather it is an anniversary, birthday, wedding, graduation party, or just a celebration of good times, I have the right music that can make your party happen.  I DJ BenJammin have been in the DJ business for over 7 years and have gathered many years of entertaining and musical experience in which I am ready to share with you.

Musical Background:       Having been born in the 70’s I was just in time to soak up the 70’s disco/dance movement and move on into the new wave era of the 80’s.  I had parents that were always playing music, and sparking my interest into the oldies, and popular music.  I remember many a road trip with the 8-track going non stop.  Upon growing up and getting my first turntable/stereo system I started the ultimate K-Tel collection.  Then through my teens I picked up the guitar, learned and studied music, and took on a new appreciation towards music.  In playing guitar in several bands I gathered lots of musical equipment and gear, that I pretty much had my first DJ setup.  Working through college I seemed to have less time for guitar, and was pretty much out of the music spotlight.  I was asked to provide music for a few events for my friends with my limited music selection.  Once I did my first event, I was hooked.  Since then I haven’t looked back and have moved up to lighting, video, and karaoke on top of just DJ’ing. Upon upgrading my equipment, music, adding karaoke and lighting, I find my self branching off into what has been only a dream several years ago.  My commitment and passion into my business is my guarantee that you will receive the best service

Qualifications:     To be qualified as a DJ, it takes many years of entertaining and music collecting.  DJ’ing requires a real world hands on learning approach, as it’s very difficult to know what some people like, and what some people will or will not dance too.  In the DJ business  there is no specialized training or DJ Academies to gain a degree in, which leaves it up to many DJ’s to come up with their own ideas of how to DJ.  Some of these ideas are new and revolutionary, while others use tired old repetitive routines that have been used for years.  I strive to improve my performance every chance I get.  I attend Mobile DJ trade shows, network with other DJ's, subscribe to DJ entertainer magazines, and have joined a national DJ association in order to enhance and improve my abilities.  I am constantly studying and reading up on new ideas and resources to make my show even better.  If you have seen me perform in the past compared to today, you would see a totally different style and new routines that really set me apart from past performances.

Professionalism:  BenJammins DJ Service strives to be one of the best DJ services in town.  I am currently registered and in high standing as a member of the National Association of Musical Entertainers   (N.A.M.E. membership # C02195).  This is a national organization that I support, that promotes professionalism and ethics in DJ services.  I adhere to the standards and principles, which make up this fine organization.  Information on the resources and qualifications of N.A.M.E can be found at www.djkj.com.  All performances by DJ BenJammin are covered under a pre-approved contract agreed on by both parties.  this contract is to protect both client and DJ against a breech of contract by either party.  I also carry liability insurance to cover any mishaps or incidences incurred by me or my equipment.
